| Orlando is a Walt Disney’s empire of childlike enjoyment |
| 03.30.05 (9:39 pm) [edit] |
Like many people I relate Orlando to Disneyworld, but an Orlando vacation offers much more than Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Daffy and Donald Duck. Orlando is the perfect location to enjoy diverse things from horse-drawn carriage rides at dusk to romantic picnics in the park. It is he ideal choice for a romantic vacation as well as a fun-packed family tour. Surprisingly, there are 95 theme parks and major attractions in Orlando alone. Even before Walt Disney changed the face of Orlando, it was a popular vacation spot. Orlando's mild and sunny weather make it a great tourist destination round the year. There is no special season to see the stunning wildlife, tropical foliage, and beautiful flowers in Orlando, it is on show all year.
If you are looking for some off the beaten track destinations in Orlando that a family can enjoy apart from Disney World, there are money choices available in and around this Florida paradise. You can definitely choose a romantic getaway if you are a couple, but like many, I would prefer a few days of more quiet, intimate, relaxation.

It also has Experience Game Lab, an interactive program incorporating games and stunts; Earthquake simulates a real tremor experience; in Twister ‘Ride it Out’, as the special effects create a tornado-like effect; in Back to the Future, travel to the year 2015 and encounter a dinosaur along the way and come face to face with Biff; Animal Planet Live is a show with live animals actually performing right in front of you; Men In Black takes you through the dark streets of New York where you encounter aliens; in Extra Terrestrial, you get to meet the friendly alien; encounter futuristic cyborgs in Terminator; and board your own rocket in Jimmy Neutron’s Nicktoon Blast.
